Impulse is a change in momentum of an mass when a force is applied.

\(I = F \Delta t \)

Where:

\(I\) = impulse

\(F\) = force

\(\Delta t\) = time differential

Solve for:

\(F = \frac   {I} {\Delta t}\)

\(\Delta t = \frac   {I} {F}\)
