Power is the rate of doing work or the rate of using energy per unit time.

Abbreviated as \(P\) or \(P_d\)

\(P = \frac {F   d}{t} \)

Where:

\(P\) = power

\(F\) = force

\(d\) = displacement

\(t\) = time

Solve for:

\(F = \frac {P   t}{d} \)

\(d = \frac {P   t}{F} \)

\(t = \frac {F d}{P} \)
