Mechanical Energy

Written by Jerry Ratzlaff on . Posted in Classical Mechanics

Mechanical energy is the sum of kinetic energy and potential energy generating from the force of gravity or the movement released in machine movement.

Mechanical Energy Formula

\(\large{ ME =  PE + KE }\)

Where:

\(\large{ ME }\) = mechanical energy

\(\large{ KE }\) = kinetic energy

\(\large{ PE }\) = potential energy
