# Gay-Lussac's Law

Gay-Lussac's Law, one of the Gas Laws, states the proportional, that when temperature increases, pressure increases, when pressure decreases, temperature decreases.

## Gay-Lussac's Law formula

\(\large{ \frac { p_1} {T_1} = \frac { p_2} {T_2} }\) |

### Where:

\(\large{ p_1 }\) = pressure (use Kelvin)

\(\large{ p_2 }\) = pressure (use Kelvin)

\(\large{ T_1 }\) = absolute temperature (required for Gay-Lussac's Law)

\(\large{ T_2 }\) = absolute temperature (required for Gay-Lussac's Law)
