Molar Mass of Gas

Written by Jerry Ratzlaff. Posted in Thermodynamics

Molar mass is the mass in atomic mass units, of one mole of a substance.

formula

\(M = v \:\cdot\: 0.0821 \left( \frac {G}{T} \right) p\)

Where:

\(M\) = molar mass of gas

\(v\) = volume

\(G\) = mass of gas

\(T\) = temperature

\(p\) = pressure
