Mean, abbreviated as m, is the average value for a group of data or the sum of all the values divided by the number of values.

## Mean formulas

 $$\large{ m = \frac{ high \;-\; low }{ 2 } }$$ $$\large{ m = \frac{ \sum X_s }{ n } }$$

### Where:

$$\large{ m }$$ = mean

$$\large{ \sum X_s }$$  (Greek symbol Sigma) = sum of data values  $$\large{ X_1, X_2, X_3, ... }$$

$$\large{ n }$$ = number of data values
