Work-energy principle, abbreviated as $$W_{net}$$, is the change in the kinetic energy of an object is equal to the net work done on the object.

## Work-Energy Principle formula

 $$\large{ W_{net} = \frac {1}{2}\; m \; v_f^2 -\frac {1}{2}\; m \; v_i^2 }$$

$$\large{ W_{net} }$$ = net work

$$\large{ m }$$ = mass

$$\large{ v_f }$$ = final velocity

$$\large{ v_i }$$ = initial velocity
