Temperature Switch

A temperature switch, abbreviated as TS, provides alarm, shutdown and control for many types of processes.  Switch that activates when a certain temperature condition is met.  A temperature switch typically provides a discrete output.  It may be part of a temperature transmitter that activates when a condition is met.

Alarms in the PLC can be:

  • \(TSH\) - Temperature Switch High
  • \(TSL\) - Temperature Switch Low
  • \(TSHL\) - Temperature Switch High/Low
