Moment

Moment is the force acting on the body to produce motion around an axis.

Moment formula

\(M = F   d \)

Where:

\(M\) = moment

\(F\) = force

\(d\) = length of arm

Solve for:

\(F = \frac {M}{d} \)

\(d = \frac {M}{F} \)
