Extension Cords

  • Extension cords are designed and should only be for temporary use.  All other electrical connections will be perminant and by code.
  • If a cord is damaged, it shall be replaced or shortened by an electrician.  Never patch with electrical tape.
  • Cords shall be protected against contact with chemicals, hot surfaces, or oil.
  • Cords shall never be hung over nails or other sharp edges or placed where vehicles can run over them.
