Branch connections are not just tee's and lateral's, they are also weldolets. Weldolets® are welded branch connections that are designed to match or exceed the schedule of the pipe used. Each is marked with an outlet size and the pipe sizes that it can be welded to. If stamped 5-3x3/4" it will have an outlet size of 3/4" and fit pipe sizes 3", 3 1/2", 4", 5" and having a maximum gap between the pipe and olet of 1/32" for the largest size.

Unless otherwise specified, the following trademarked names are registered to Bonney Forge. These fittings may be available for sale under different names. It is up to the user to ensure that the fitting meets applicable codes, such as ANSI/ASME B16.9, ANSI/ASME B16.25 or MSS SP-97.

Specialty Olet Design Classification
Brazolet - A Brazolet® is a fitting that resembles a Weldolet and is designed for use on KLM pipe (ASTM_B88) and iron pipe size ('''IPS''') brass or copper tubing. It is available with socket or threaded connections.
Coupolet - A Coupolet® is a fitting that is designed for use in fire protection sprinkler systems and other low pressure piping applications. It comes with NPT female threads for 300# service.
Expanded Olet - A Expanded Olet® is designed to be used when the branch pipe is larger than run pipe. It can replace the need for two fittings a tee and concentric reducer.
Flanged Olet - A Flanged Olet® is a combination of a Weldolet® and flange, available in classes 150 thru 2500 and any combination flange type.
Flexolet - A Flexolet® and Weldolet® are basically the same but with one difference. The Flexolet® has a straight through bore and the Weldolet® has a tapered bore.
Insert Weldolet - A Insert Weldolet® is designed to be welded flush with the pipe and can replace a reducing tee or reinforcing plate.
Latrolet - A Latrolet® is similar to a Weldolet that makes a 45° reducing branch on a straight run of pipe. End connections of a Latrolet can be buttwelded, socket welded or threaded.
Nipolet - A Nipolett® is a Weldolet® with a nipple and comes with either a plain or threaded end. It's a one piece fitting that can be used for drains, vents or taps.
Sweepolet - A Sweepolet® is almost like a pipe saddle but has been manufactured in such a way as to minimize pipe stresses and stress concentration factors. The weld is able to be inspected by typical weld inspection techniques such as radiography and ultrasound inspections.
