Where:

 Units English Metric
\(\large{ v_w }\) = wavelength velocity \(\large{\frac{ft}{sec}}\) \(\large{\frac{m}{s}}\)
\(\large{ f }\) = frequency \(\large{Hz}\) \(\large{Hz}\)
\(\large{ \lambda }\)  (Greek symbol \lambda) = wavelength \(\large{ft}\) \(\large{m}\)
