Weight of Water
Weight of water in soil, also called soil moisture content or soil water content, refers to the amount of water present in a given volume or mass of soil. It is typically expressed as a percentage or a fraction of the soil's total weight or volume. Soil moisture content is an important parameter in agriculture, environmental science, and geotechnical engineering, as it can affect plant growth, soil stability, and various other soil properties.
