Flex Connector - Temperature Correction Factor

Flex Connector - Temperature Correction Factor

  • As the working temperature increases, the maximum pressure a flex connector can withstand decreases.  The hose material and the fitting attachment method (mechanical, soldered, welded, silver brazed) will determines the maximum pressure that can be used.  The approximate safe working pressure at elevated temperatures can be calculated by using the chart.
