Voltage coefficient of resistance, abbreviated as VC, is the change in resistance with applied voltage.

## Voltage Coefficient of Resistance formula

 $$\large{ VC = \frac { 100 \; \left( R_1 \;-\; R_2 \right) }{ R_2 \; \left( V_1 \;-\; V_2 \right) } }$$

### Where:

$$\large{ VC }$$ = voltage coefficient of resistance

$$\large{ R_1 }$$ = resistance at the rated voltage $$V_1$$

$$\large{ R_2 }$$ = resistance at 10% of rated voltage $$V_2$$
