Overall equipment effectiveness, abbreviated as OEE, measures the efficiency and effectiveness of a process.

Overall equipment effectiveness Formula

\(\large{ OEE = A \; P \; Q  }\)
\(\large{ OEE = \frac{ GC \; ICT }{ PPT }  }\)

Where:

\(\large{ OEE }\) = overall equipment effectiveness

\(\large{ A }\) = availability

\(\large{ GC }\) = goods count

\(\large{ ICT }\) = ideal cycle time

\(\large{ P }\) = performance

\(\large{ PPT }\) = planning production time

\(\large{ Q }\) = quality
