Mean, abbreviated as m, is the average value for a group of data or the sum of all the values divided by the number of values.

Mean formulas

\(\large{ m =  \frac{ high \;-\; low }{  2 }    }\)
\(\large{ m =  \frac{ \sum X_s }{  n }    }\)

Where:

\(\large{ m }\) = mean

\(\large{ \sum X_s }\)  (Greek symbol Sigma) = sum of data values  \(\large{ X_1, X_2, X_3, ... }\)

\(\large{ n }\) = number of data values
