Reduced pressure, abbreviated as \(p_r\), of a fluid is the actual pressure.

 

Reduced Pressure formula

\(\large{ p_r = \frac {p}{p_c} }\)   

Where:

 Units English Metric
\(\large{ p_r }\) = reduced pressure \(\large{\frac{lbf}{in^2}}\) \(Pa\)
\(\large{ p }\) = pressure \(\large{\frac{lbf}{in^2}}\) \(Pa\)
\(\large{ p_c }\) = critical pressure \(\large{\frac{lbf}{in^2}}\) \(Pa\)
